Principal Technical Program Manager — AI Infrastructure

What the role is: Lead major AI infrastructure programs across EMEA, coordinating the technology, capacity, construction, supply chain, and business teams needed to deploy Microsoft's rapidly expanding AI infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale programs involving datacenters, GPUs, compute, networking, power, cooling, and capacity.
- Develop program strategies, timelines, governance, metrics, and delivery plans.
- Coordinate engineering, supply chain, construction, operations, finance, and capacity teams.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and mitigation plans.
- Evaluate AI infrastructure technologies and make recommendations on technical tradeoffs.
- Manage complex programs despite changing technology, incomplete information, and rapidly growing demand.
- Present strategic updates, risks, and recommendations to senior/executive leadership.
- Work with strategic customers and external partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience in technical/engineering program management, infrastructure delivery, cloud computing, or similar.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in large enterprises or hyperscale cloud environments.
- Ability to manage programs spanning multiple teams and geographic regions.
Preferred:
- AI infrastructure, GPU, supercomputing, or hyperscale cloud experience.
- Capacity planning, supply chain, forecasting, or infrastructure investment experience.
- Experience with strategic customers/partners.
- Understanding of EMEA datacenter, power, connectivity, and regulatory environments.
Work setup:
- 3 days/week in-office
- Less than 25% travel

- Salary: €99,800–€172,400/year
