About this role

About the Role The Principal Technical Program Manager will report to the VP of AI and serve as a high-impact leader responsible for turning ambiguous AI concepts into enterprise-scale products and platforms. They will define strategy and drive adoption of core AI models and infrastructure, building cloud and edge AI platforms that translate AI investments into measurable customer outcomes. What You'll Do

  • Own the strategy, definition, and execution of programs across core AI areas, coordinating across central AI and product teams to deliver end-to-end AI features.
  • Drive End-to-End AI Feature Delivery ensuring value realization for customers.
  • Develop and lead the AI Impact Tracker & Baseline to link AI model performance with customer outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead AI for Developer Practices to integrate AI/ML into the software development lifecycle, track adoption, and measure impact on engineering velocity and quality.
  • Design and maintain an executive-facing Organizational Performance Dashboard tracking AI impact metrics, development efficiency, and organizational goals with data fidelity.
  • Enable Cross-Functional Alignment by communicating status of AI metrics, strategic research initiatives, progress, and customer impact to stakeholders.
  • Guide Emergent Strategic Initiatives, providing early-stage definition, discovery, prioritization, and transition to a Product Manager when scoped. What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of technical program management experience leading cross-functional AI/ML programs and platforms.
  • Deep technical understanding of AI/ML, MLOps, data platforms, and central AI infrastructure; background in computer vision and/or voice technologies a plus.
  • Metrics expertise with experience defining KPIs/OKRs and measuring AI performance (e.g., Precision/Recall), real-time video processing, and inference optimization.
  • Strong leadership to influence senior leaders, drive consensus, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; customer-focused with ability to build stakeholder relationships.
  • Domain knowledge in public safety, security-focused software (video security, evidence management) or related areas. Nice to Have
  • Background in computer vision and/or voice technologies is a significant plus.
