About the Role AHEAD seeks a Principal Technical Consultant, Platform Engineering to serve as a technical thought leader and SME for our ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers in Modern Apps & Platform Engineering. This role leads the development, design, implementation, and engagement leadership of client solutions, while mentoring engineers and guiding career growth on projects and internal initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong leadership, and deep technical proficiency across multiple domains.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development, design, implementation, and engagement leadership of client solutions as part of the consulting team.
- Serve as a technical thought leader and SME for our ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers in Modern Apps & Platform Engineering.
- Manage, mentor, and delegate to engineers on a project basis; maintain career advancement plans for the team and contribute to internal initiatives and indirect project support.
- Collaborate across the organization to drive successful client outcomes and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $230,000 - $290,000 per year (On-Target Earnings; base salary plus target bonus).
