A Snapshot of Your Day Join us as a Principal Supplier Quality Auditor and experience the dynamic nature of this role! One week, you’ll be on-site at a strategic supplier, conducting audits to ensure that corrective actions are effectively implemented and embedded into their operations. The next week, you could be collaborating with a cross-functional task force, challenging root cause analyses, assessing risks, and helping stakeholders resolve complex quality issues. You will be the trusted expert who brings structure to challenging situations, asks the right questions, and ensures decisions are based on facts and objective evidence. Through your audit expertise and ability to build trust, you will help suppliers and internal teams achieve sustainable quality improvements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct ad-hoc, process, product, and system audits at suppliers worldwide, focusing on verifying effectiveness and sustainable implementation of corrective actions.
- Support Supplier Quality teams in resolving critical supplier quality issues, escalations, and recovery activities.
- Challenge root cause analyses, corrective action plans, and risk assessments to ensure robust and sustainable solutions.
- Verify implementation progress through objective evidence, process observations, and direct engagement with supplier teams.
- Facilitate and support cross-functional task forces addressing complex quality challenges, driving accountability and transparency by tracking actions to successful completion.
What You Bring
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality, or a comparable environment.
- Proven auditing experience, supported by qualifications such as VDA 6.3, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 8D, risk assessment, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Excellent English communication skills. Hungarian is a plus.
- Structured working style, and a strong quality mindset, along with intercultural competence and a willingness to travel 20-30% of the time internationally.
