About the Role

At Atlassian, the Principal Strategy and Business Operations will partner directly with leaders in the Enterprise Foundations organization to shape a robust cloud platform strategy for enterprise customers. This role blends strategic thinking with rigorous analysis to drive growth and operational excellence across product, GTM, analytics, and finance.

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with product, go-to-market, analytics, and finance teams to prioritize product roadmaps, deliver strategic recommendations and analyses, and develop product strategies that drive growth for the business.

• Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making and inform business decisions through financial and analytical modeling, research, and insights.

• Define appropriate goals/OKRs to track progress against strategic objectives.

• Maintain a pulse on business performance and reporting, including quarterbacking a cross-functional team to diagnose problems when they occur.

• What We're Looking For

• 10+ years experience in high growth software / tech industry in BizOps and/or consulting, investment banking roles.

• Ability to contribute to executive-level decision making, including articulately presenting and debating recommendations.

• Self-starter who can drive work from idea to analysis, recommendation and, at times, implementation.

• Enjoy working with numbers and both understand the details and communicate the bigger picture.

• Break down complex problems with a hypothesis-driven approach; comfortable with ambiguity and structured decision-making.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and building revenue and cost drivers.

• Intellectual curiosity and genuine excitement about technology.

• Nice to Have

• Industry experience in SaaS or platform business models.

• Experience using SQL for analysis.

• Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau).

• Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay ranges by geography: Zone A: $183,600 - $239,700; Zone B: $165,200 - $215,730; Zone C: $152,300 - $198,951 (USD).

• This role may be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
