Job Description Summary

The Senior AI DevSecOps Engineer contributes to the secure and reliable operation of AI systems at scale. You’ll bring together DevSecOps, cloud, and AI security knowledge to establish production-ready processes focused on observability, reliability, and safe operationalization of AI workloads.

About the Role

As a Senior AI DevSecOps Engineer in the AI Delivery Hub, you’ll help design, build, and operate the secure infrastructure behind enterprise-grade AI applications. You’ll engage across engineering, security, and operations to ensure that AI and multi-agent systems are robust, observable, and scalable.

This is a hands-on senior technical role focused on defining reusable practices, enhancing operational quality, and enabling teams to deliver AI solutions safely and effectively.

In this role, you’ll:

• Embed security and operational readiness throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Design secure deployment and runtime patterns for large language model (LLM) and AI agent applications.
• Manage AI-specific risks such as unsafe prompts, data leakage, and insecure permissions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated security controls for AI workloads.
• Build observability and monitoring across models, APIs, and systems.
• Establish reliability, resilience, and production-readiness standards.
• Apply secure identity management, secrets handling, and workload segregation.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Optimize AI workloads for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to reusable DevSecOps frameworks and promote secure operational practices across teams.

Your Profile

• Experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, site reliability, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), containers, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with application, API, and cloud security principles.
• Strong understanding of identity, secrets management, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Exposure to Generative AI, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
• Awareness of AI security challenges, including prompt safety and secure tool interaction.
• Experience with distributed tracing, observability tools, and incident response.
• Proficiency in automation or scripting (Python or similar).
• Ability to collaborate and influence technical direction in multi-disciplinary teams.

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, GitOps
• Monitoring: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
• AI Stack: LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents
• Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen
• Security: Identity and Access Management (IAM), API security, secrets automation

Nice to Have

• Experience securing enterprise or multi-agent AI environments.
• Familiarity with AI risk modeling, adversarial testing, or red teaming.
• Experience with AI observability and reliability engineering.
• Understanding of privacy engineering and responsible AI practices.
• Awareness of emerging AI regulations such as GDPR or the EU AI Act.
• Experience with AI FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll help teams move AI solutions safely from experimentation to production by embedding security, reliability, and observability by design. Your work will establish reusable operational patterns that strengthen trust, efficiency, and scale across Amadeus AI solutions.

Role Type: Senior individual contributor Primary Focus: AI Security | DevSecOps | Reliability | Operational Excellence Typical Experience: Approximately 12+ years across engineering, operations, or cloud infrastructure, including 5+ years in security-focused roles and AI applications.
