About the Role Join AIG's brand-new Generative AI team to explore how AI can transform insurance. As the Principal GenAI Solutions Architect, you will shape strategy and develop next-generation AI-driven solutions across multiple lines of business, driving end-to-end architectures and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. You will lead the integration of cloud, AI, and cutting-edge technologies to deliver scalable, responsible AI-powered business applications. What You'll Do
- Manage the architecture and roadmap for multiple large or mid-sized business applications, ensuring alignment with GenAI strategy and enterprise standards.
- Lead development of technical and functional solution architectures (cloud, security, risk, compliance, integration, DevOps, automation).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for AI/ML integration and business transformation.
- Guide creation, adoption, and dissemination of architecture standards across the organization, influencing engineering teams and senior leadership.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and maximizing business value of AI-driven solutions. What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience leading architecture, design, and roadmap of large-scale business applications or functional technology solutions, with secure architecture and AI integration using Agile/lean methodologies.
- Proficiency in end-to-end architecture across geography and program sizes; ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive AI/ML and cloud-native technologies, aligned with EA/ITIL standards (enterprise, ethical, responsible AI).
- Experience in hybrid environments, integrating on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure to create secure, scalable solutions; strong knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, Microservices, Open Data, and DevSecOps.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic direction, and mentoring of junior team members. Nice to Have
- Culture of experimentation; passion for emerging technologies (SaaS, microservices, DevSecOps, predictive analytics).
- Experience in highly regulated industries and implementing AI solutions in such environments.
- Knowledge of ethical standards and controls for Generative AI; experience deploying AI/ML models at scale.
- Familiarity with business and Insurance functions (channel/distribution, submission/file management, policy/service, claims, data modeling, actuarial, etc.).
