Principal Solutions Architect

As a Principal Solutions Architect/Delivery Specialist, you will take the technical lead during pre-sales engagement, using a consultative approach towards the customer to fully understand their overall business goals. From there, you will translate the client’s business requirements into specific systems or applications for complex technology solutions. You will be the go-to for the technical project team for consultations. You will act as the Remote Delivery team SME in your domain of experience supporting one or more complex sub-regions.

Responsibilities

• Steer the pre-sales qualification process and deliver the architectural design, strategy, and plan. Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships, to identify additional opportunities with current accounts.
• Guide project quality assurance activities and possibly supervise staff on large projects where a high number of technical staff are involved, including training or on-the-job mentoring.
• Have deep, extensive knowledge of Dell Technologies products, integration capabilities and related environments, keeping up to date with the latest industry developments.
• Contribute to the preparation of multiple technical KBs, white papers, and the delivery of technical sessions.
• Coach and mentor less senior team members, both in project delivery and technical aspects.
• Lead the way in enablement and readiness for priority solution delivery in your area of expertise or other emerging technology areas as needed by the business.
• Combine on-site delivery and remote work; flexibility to support Egypt onsite work, traveling to Gulf and Africa is required.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10 to 14 years of hands-on experience in Dell Data Protection solutions within enterprise environments.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong expertise in Dell Data Protection technologies, including: Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS), vProtect, CyberSense.
• Proven experience leading complex solution architecture and delivery engagements.
• Advanced customer communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong technical documentation and process-writing capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk, escalation, conflict, and crisis management.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of third-party integrations and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ability to drive change initiatives and facilitate the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel across Egypt, Gulf countries, and Africa as business needs require.
