Role Overview
Lead Microsoft's Israel Development Center (ILDC) Red Team engineering team, overseeing the strategy, development, and delivery of the Initial Access pillar—the AI-powered tools and services that enable Microsoft's Red Team to identify and exploit vulnerabilities across Microsoft's global infrastructure. Drive the expansion of offensive security capabilities while ensuring production-grade engineering and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team, develop AI-driven vulnerability discovery systems, build offensive security tooling and autonomous agent capabilities, and support live red team operations. Partner closely with security researchers, red team operators, and engineering leaders worldwide to improve Microsoft's security posture through authentic adversary emulation and continuous innovation.
Qualifications

Candidates should have 10+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years of engineering management experience, and a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly offensive security, red teaming, cloud security, or threat detection. Experience with LLMs, autonomous AI agents, secure software development, and large-scale distributed systems is highly desirable, along with excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
