Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for the Data Management Platform (DMP) team within Microsoft Advertising AI. The role focuses on building and modernizing large-scale data platforms that support user understanding, identity resolution, audience segmentation, targeting, and personalization.
Responsibilities include leading system architecture, improving scalability and performance, driving secure software development practices, mentoring engineers, managing integrations, and supporting the migration of data platforms to Azure.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 6+ years of software engineering experience, and strong programming skills in languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Advanced experience with cloud platforms, large-scale distributed systems, security, and software architecture is preferred.
