About the Role We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer who remains deeply hands-on while taking on light technical leadership. You’ll contribute to a production platform powering large-scale logistics worldwide, blending senior individual-contributor work with guiding a small engineering team. This role emphasizes technical execution, backlog shaping, and close collaboration with US-based partners to turn priorities into deliverable outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to shape architecture and delivery while maintaining hands-on coding on core components.
Location details: 3/4D Pacific Rise Mt Wellington, Auckland 1060, New Zealand; 3 days in office - 2 days WFH. You’ll work closely with a small local team and a larger US-based engineering group, with some flexibility in working hours to support cross-time-zone collaboration.
