About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you’ll be one of the most senior technical leaders shaping the future of our AI-powered data ecosystem. You will architect high-performance foundations for next-generation agentic data platforms and scale infrastructure for millions of users worldwide. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will partner with product and engineering leadership to translate technical strategy into business impact and set the direction for a unified data platform designed for an AI-first future.
What You'll Do

Provide architectural influence and hands-on contributions to build production-ready systems from conception to global scale

Guide dozens of engineering teams to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable AI

Tackle complex problems in data orchestration, low-latency processing, and developer velocity

Lead and mentor senior engineering talent, shaping architecture decisions and technical direction across multiple teams

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to drive company-wide technical strategies

Work with data ingestion systems and optimize performance for large-scale data processing and analysis

What We're Looking For

10+ years of production-level engineering experience building scalable infrastructure

Strong background in architecting or implementing AI-driven features and translating AI capabilities into scalable products

Proven track record in end-to-end architecture and delivery, guiding large teams across multiple product areas

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor senior engineering talent

Experience evaluating emerging technologies to drive technical strategy

Expertise with data ingestion, large-scale data processing, and analysis

Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kafka, Databricks, and large-scale databases
-
Familiarity with replication, sharding, and high availability of databases

Experience building observability, performance monitoring, and optimization frameworks

Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines

Experience with health-tech systems (EHR, clinical data) is desirable
