About this role
About the Role
Principal Scientist, Therapeutic Modelling leads quantitative pharmacology efforts to inform target selection, lead optimization, and translational strategies. The role combines computational modelling, data integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making in drug development. What You'll Do
-
Develop and apply mechanistic and statistical models to translate preclinical and biomarker data into clinical predictions.
-
Design modelling strategies to optimize dosing, exposure-response, and translational gaps.
-
Collaborate with pharmacology, biology, and clinical teams to interpret data and present results to senior leadership.
-
Lead model-based regulatory discussions and contribute to strategic decision-making across programs. What We're Looking For
-
PhD in quantitative biology, pharmacometrics, biostatistics, or a related field; 6+ years of modelling experience in pharma/biotech.
-
Expertise in PK/PD modelling, systems pharmacology, disease progression modelling, Bayesian methods, and nonlinear mixed-effects modelling (e.g., NONMEM, Monolix, or similar).
-
Proficiency in programming languages (R, Python, MATLAB) and modelling platforms (NONMEM, Monolix, Pumas, etc.).
-
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Nice to Have
