About the Role
Syntax is seeking a Principal SAP SD Solution Architect specializing in Wholesale to lead the implementation and support of SAP SD/OTC processes for enterprise customers. In this client-facing role, you will translate business needs into effective SAP solutions, work closely with clients and technical teams, and drive continuous process improvement and successful SAP delivery. What You'll Do
- Facilitate implementation and support of SAP SD/OTC processes.
- Conduct detailed analyses of complex business processes and propose appropriate system solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate and document client needs.
- Lead workshops to gather operational requirements.
- Map operational requirements, processes, and key objectives, and develop necessary product adjustments to meet client expectations.
- Design the SD/LE module, including documentation design, test scenarios and results.
- Oversee configuration and testing.
- Identify gaps, issues and alternatives.
- Act as client-facing liaison for issue resolution, investigating, analyzing and correcting software incidents.
- If needed, manage urgent changes or transports for high-priority issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business or system process improvements and implement them.
- Provide consulting services for new sites as well as for existing support projects.
- Contribute to user training and ad hoc support as needed. What We're Looking For
- At least 10 years of SAP implementation project experience, including multiple full cycles, as well as in support, design and configuration of the SAP SD module and OTC processes in the wholesale industry.
- Knowledge of key integration points with other SAP modules; experience with MM, Finance or EWM is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables and projects concurrently.
