Job title: Principal Program Manager - PWS Ecosystem & Platforms
About the Role The Principal PWS Ecosystem & Platforms Program Manager acts as the right arm to the PWS Head of Product & Innovation, leading cross-BU R&D coordination across three BUs and aligning hardware, software, design and partnerships into a single cohesive program. You’ll ensure delivery within budget, schedule and experience targets while prioritizing security and sustainability.
What You'll Do
- Orchestrate the cross-BU 3-year innovation roadmaps and lead the annual 3-year strategy off-site with the PWS head of product.
- Lead Cross-Functional Governance and maintain the monthly PWS R&D alignment forums; bridge the Heads of Product, HW Engineering, and SW Engineering.
- Drive PWS Experience Platforms coordination across experiences that impact multiple product categories (AI-enabled workflows, security, connectivity, sustainability); coordinate Design, UX, SW, HW, and Partner alliances.
- Craft and lead strategic innovation direction with internal and external partners (platform partners, technology suppliers) to co-create and de-risk the future product and technology pipeline.
- Drive complex initiatives with multi-threaded ownership and break down silos to synthesize engineering timelines, software readiness, GTM, partnership requirements, regional nuances and retail readiness into a unified program.
- Ensure new/existing products interconnect to form a seamless hardware/software ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
- A deeply experienced, T-shaped technical leader with a proven track record delivering complex hardware and software programs in consumer electronics or similar.
- Ability to influence executives and partner with VPs, General Managers, and Directors across engineering, product and business.
- Strong ambiguity navigation and cross-functional ownership across multiple teams and partners.
- Ecosystem thinker who sees a continuous user experience across devices and software platforms.
- 10+ years of hands-on R&D program management, technical product management, or engineering leadership; experience delivering HW & SW to mass production and launch; fluent in English.
