Principal Product Line Manager - Electronic Warfare

About the Role As Principal Product Line Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Electronic Warfare (EW) and RF sensing capabilities at Silvus Technologies, reporting to the VP of Product. Based in West Los Angeles, CA, this hybrid role requires at least 3 onsite days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). You will translate mission needs into scalable product capabilities and guide investment decisions across communications and sensing domains, partnering with customers and stakeholders including military end users, primes, and integrators. What You'll Do

• Drive the product from prototype to scalable, sellable, operationally viable product for EW and sensing.
• Lead market research and competitive analysis to refine product-market fit.
• Engage directly with end users and customers to uncover pain points and use cases; translate insights into actionable requirements and priorities.
• Evangelize the product with stakeholders, including military end users, integrators, and prime contractors.
• Own the product roadmap and align priorities with engineering, business development, and leadership.
• Support and drive pilot programs, field tests, and customer engagements.
• Ensure products are delivered as scalable, reusable platform features across existing radio platforms, new hardware, and software/analytics layers.
• Manage lifecycle from concept through deployment and sustainment; track adoption, mission effectiveness, and competitive positioning.
• Define multi-year roadmap for radio-integrated sensing, standalone sensing, software-defined sensing and analytics; align with platform architecture.
• Balance customer-driven requirements with long-term platform strategy; drive opportunities for next-generation capabilities. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• 8+ years of product or program experience in defense/EW/ISR/RF sensing.
• Ability to engage with military customers and partners.
• Knowledge of defense acquisition processes.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government SECRET clearance.
• Familiarity with EW, sensing, and communications technologies; experience with MANET, MIMO, SDR, DSP is a plus.
• Ability to travel and interact with government customers, primes, and integrators as needed. Nice to Have
• Experience driving productization across hardware, software, and analytics layers.
• Prior roles at or with government programs, DoD priorities (CEMA, JADC2, multi-domain operations).
• Strong stakeholder evangelism and field-test experience. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $200,000–$240,000 per year.
• Hybrid work schedule; West Los Angeles location; onsite three days per week (Mon, Wed, Thu).
