Job title: Principal Product Designer

About the Role As a Principal Product Designer within Moveworks' Product Design organization, you will define the design vision for our core web platform and translate advanced AI capabilities into intuitive, human-centric experiences. You will operate at a strategic altitude while remaining hands-on, leading cross-product initiatives to transform how people work.

What You'll Do

• Lead large, cross-product AI and web initiatives critical to business success, translating machine learning capabilities into compelling product experiences.
• Drive elegant design, extensible systems, and enterprise productivity, raising the bar for the design team.
• Provide strategic direction, vision, and leadership for collaborations with product management and engineering leadership.
• Act as an industry influencer, contributing to trade events and publications.
• Define and maintain design language and standards across multiple products.

What We're Looking For

• BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
• Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
• Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency).

Nice to Have

• 15+ years of relevant design experience with strong first-principles thinking.
• Experience leveraging or integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• An inspiring portfolio demonstrating formative contributions to design language, strategy, processes, and standards, up to company level.
• Strategic advocate for design and for users at cross-functional senior leadership and executive level.
• Proven experience in creating business value with a strong balance of technologies, deep knowledge of product and engineering.
• Seen as a thought leader in a company and industry, delivering product experiences that exemplify beautiful design, catalyze user and enterprise productivity, create extensible systems and frameworks, and inspire customers.
• Influence skills and drive to define design strategies across multiple products and/or complex horizontal initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: USD 221,200 - 387,100 per year. Base pay may be complemented by equity (where applicable) and variable/incentive compensation; OTE structures may apply for sales roles.
