About the Role The Principal Procurement Manager will lead procurement strategy and execution for Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I), enabling Microsoft’s cloud platforms and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier relationships, cost, risk, and governance across the Microsoft cloud supply chain. What You'll Do
- Lead strategic procurement initiatives, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and governance for CO+I programs.
- Partner with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to implement scalable procurement solutions that support Azure, Office 365, and other Microsoft services.
- Manage supplier performance, risk assessments, and end-to-end procurement lifecycle.
- Drive cost optimization, savings tracking, and vendor diversification.
- Mentor and lead procurement professionals, ensuring compliance with Microsoft policies and standards. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement management, preferably within large tech or cloud services environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain program management, vendor risk, and compliance.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and influence across organizations. Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise software procurement.
