About the Role Microsoft is seeking a Principal Physical Design Engineer to join the SCHIE team. SCHIE is the group behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and powering the Intelligent Cloud mission. This role will contribute to silicon physical design and collaborate with Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering to deliver high-quality silicon for Microsoft’s cloud business. What You'll Do
- Lead or contribute to physical design activities for Microsoft silicon as part of SCHIE.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, scalable silicon for Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.
- Drive design quality, schedule adherence, and technical leadership for the physical design flow. What We're Looking For
- Strong background in physical design engineering for silicon devices.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including silicon engineering, EDA tools, and manufacturing.
