Principal Pathologist
Location: TARRYTOWN, NY Full time
The Pathology group within Regeneron’s Drug Safety and Pharmacometrics organization is looking for a Principal Pathologist who is excited to help advance innovative medicines from discovery through development. In this highly collaborative role, you will provide critical pathology expertise across the drug development continuum, including pathology peer review of Regeneron toxicology studies and close partnership with research scientists to support the discovery, characterization, and preclinical development of diverse therapeutic modalities, including large-molecule therapeutics, gene therapies, and oligonucleotide-based drugs targeting a broad range of diseases.
When & Where: This position will be based on-site in our Tarrytown, NY offices four days per week.
Discover Your Role:
- Apply your expertise in toxicologic pathology to help shape research programs that support the discovery and development of transformative medicines.
- Serve as the study pathologist for in-house discovery studies and produce high-quality pathology reports that inform scientific decision-making and support regulatory submissions.
- Provide digital or glass-slide pathology peer review for Regeneron toxicology studies conducted at contract research organizations.
- Leverage digital image analysis, when appropriate, to strengthen study interpretation and scientific insight.
- Contribute to the continued development of a forward-looking, in-house digital pathology program.
- Present your scientific contributions through internal and external forums that support regulatory and discovery programs.
- Contribute to scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations.
- Stay connected with the toxicologic pathology community through seminars, workshops, and conferences.
This Role Requires:
- DVM or PhD in Pathology
- Board certification in veterinary anatomic pathology (DACVP or DECVP).
- Experience at a contract research organization is preferred.

Salary Range (annually) $150,500.00 - $245,500.00
