Principal, Office of the CFO (OCFO) Advisory

About the Role

Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal to help grow our Office of the CFO (OCFO) Advisory practice. This role is designed for an experienced advisor, auditor, consultant, or finance leader who combines a deep understanding of high‑performing finance organizations with a proven ability to develop business, drive growth, and lead high‑performing teams. You will work with CFOs, finance leaders, private equity sponsors, and portfolio company executives to strengthen finance organizations and position them to scale.

What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee OCFO engagements across a variety of industries and business environments.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, finance leaders, private equity firms, and portfolio company management teams.

• Lead projects involving finance transformation, process improvement, financial reporting modernization, technical accounting, and systems enablement.

• Advise clients through acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, integrations, and other strategic transactions.

• Support transaction-related activities, including financial due diligence readiness, accounting assessments, integration planning, and post-close execution.

• Help clients design, build, and scale high-performing finance organizations capable of supporting growth, increasing complexity, and evolving stakeholder expectations.

• Lead client engagements involving technical accounting, financial reporting, and related areas.
