About the Role The Principal Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing logistics operations at Barksdale Air Force Base, ensuring supply chain efficiency, regulatory compliance, and mission readiness.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to support base operations and aircraft sustainment.
- Coordinate with government and contractor teams, manage inventory, procurement, and transportation planning.
- Monitor performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to DoD policies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field; at least X years of defense/logistics leadership experience (specify if known).
- Strong knowledge of DoD supply chain processes, compliance standards, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to operate in a high-tempo environment.
