About the Role As a Principal FullStack Developer for RingCentral Events, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our virtual event platform. This role demands a strong skill set in frontend development (TypeScript/React) and experience building backend systems ensuring our product's reliability and performance at scale.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team in designing, building and maintaining a product used by millions of users across the globe. The majority of the team is in Europe, and we expect team members to have at least 5 hours of overlap with EU working hours.
- Develop dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces using TypeScript and React, tailored for virtual and onsite event experiences.
- Use technologies like WebSockets, WebRTC and RTMP to develop real-time communication and streaming capabilities.
- Engineer solutions that are reliable and scalable, catering to a large number of concurrent users both virtually and onsite.
- Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, focusing on high availability and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- Strong skill set in frontend development (TypeScript/React) and experience building backend systems ensuring our product's reliability and performance at scale.
- Experience with real-time communication and streaming technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC, RTMP).
- Ability to design for high availability and scalable cloud-based solutions (AWS).
- Experience working in distributed teams with overlapping EU hours.
- Familiarity with event platforms or related domains is a plus.
