Principal Field Clinical Procedure Specialist

About the Role The Principal Field Clinical Procedure Specialist works remotely in Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division to drive clinical studies for implantable CRM devices and support post-procedural activities across investigators and sites.

What You'll Do

• Develops and maintains liaison with clinical investigators, medical educators, CROs, affiliated hospitals, state and government hospitals, and research institutions to initiate and expedite clinical studies on products with regulatory approval.
• Help with post-procedural follow-ups as necessary; review adverse event cases with investigators and coordinate with clinical and regulatory personnel.
• Assist in design, development, and monitoring of clinical evaluation projects; train investigators and site personnel on procedural and technical considerations.
• Coordinate with headquarters and field clinical research associates (CRAs); identify and recruit qualified investigators; support patient recruitment and retention and enrollment per protocol.
• Travel up to 50-60%+ including international travel.

What We're Looking For

• Required: B.S. degree in technical science or Nursing; 7 years of experience with healthcare professionals in clinical research, clinical case support, or commercial case support.
• Preferred: Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) or medical device experience; hospital environment clinical case support; strong verbal and written communication; demonstrated leadership; ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment; ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Nice to Have

• CRM experience; additional CRM-related skills; leadership in cross-functional teams (optional).

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: USD 99,300 – 198,700 per year.
