About the role
Feasibility Manager At ICON Strategic Solutions, you will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON’s global expertise. As the world’s largest FSP organisation, with over 90 sponsor partnerships, we offer stability, career development and a collaborative environment where your work contributes to the development of treatments that benefit patients worldwide. Reporting to the Director or Associate Director of Feasibility, the Principal Feasibility Analyst plays a critical role within the Patient and Site Engagement (PSE) Feasibility team, providing feasibility leadership across a range of rare disease programs to support the acceleration of clinical studies. Working closely with study teams and in alignment with Feasibility Leadership, this role leads feasibility strategy and execution for assigned studies, delivering high quality operational and site feasibility analyses that inform study planning and enrollment strategy. For select assignments, this role may take on program‑level feasibility leadership for a disease area while remaining embedded at the study level, with scope and accountability defined in partnership with Feasibility leadership.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead feasibility strategy and execution at the study level, supporting trial optimization and delivery of key milestones, while ensuring alignment with broader program objectives and feasibility standards set at the program level.
-
May serve as feasibility lead for an assigned disease area or program, assuming end‑to‑end feasibility ownership across studies within that program while continuing to lead feasibility execution at the study level, under the strategic oversight of a Director or Associate Director.
-
Synthesize and analyze feasibility, operational, and enrollment data from multiple internal and external sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic areas, standard of care, disease progression, patient and site profiles, and the competitive landscape.
-
Evaluate the clinical trial landscape and apply advanced data mining and analytical approaches, including complex enrollment modeling and forecasting, to translate findings into data driven enrollment assumptions, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations at the study level.
-
Operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic study environment, demonstrating the ability to rapidly assess changing study inputs, reprioritize work, and adjust feasibility approaches to meet tight timelines and evolving study needs.
-
Apply strong time management and prioritization skills to balance multiple studies and last minute requests, while maintaining analytical rigor and clear communication with stakeholders.
-
Serve as a key feasibility partner with cross functional study teams, clearly communicating feasibility insights, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to support study planning, site selection, and enrollment strategy decisions.
-
Lead and deliver data driven presentations with cross functional teams and in governance forums, clearly articulating feasibility insights, risks, and recommendations, including presenting analyses and responding to questions in meetings with senior leadership, as appropriate.
-
Mentor and provide guidance to junior feasibility team members, supporting development of analytical skills, feasibility best practices, and consistency in deliverables at the study level.
-
Apply strong operational judgment and clinical trial expertise to proactively identify challenges, anticipate risks, and drive solutions that support high quality feasibility execution across assigned studies.
-
Contribute to the continuous improvement of feasibility processes, tools, and best practices, sharing insights and lessons learned from experience at the study level to inform broader team and program approaches.
-
Your Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or allied health field (or equivalent industry experience), with 7+ years of progressive experience in clinical research, feasibility, clinical operations, or study startup within a sponsor or CRO environment, including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on operational feasibility experience supporting complex studies or programs.
-
Demonstrated experience leading feasibility strategy for complex studies or programs, with a proven track record of influencing decisions at the program or portfolio level related to site selection, enrollment strategy, and study acceleration.
-
Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas or late phase programs, with increasing strategic accountability.
-
Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex feasibility, operational, and enrollment data from multiple sources, translating findings into clear conclusions, insights, and actionable recommendations. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data driven analysis tools, with experience structuring, analyzing, and presenting data to support feasibility assessments, benchmarking, and enrollment forecasting.
