Job Description

Job locations: Mumbai (Preferred), Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Noida

• Structural design of concrete and steel structures, understanding various design methods and applying them accordingly.
• Experience in designing and modeling data centers and complex structures using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000 is essential. Parametric design tools and algorithms such as Grasshopper, Dynamo, or Rhino are a plus.
• Ability to interpret soil investigation reports and use appropriate geological design parameters.
• Ability to work independently and apply practical knowledge typically gained through advanced education and some work experience. Understands specific needs of problems and applies skills and knowledge accordingly.
• Designing pre-cast and post-tension structures would be advantageous.
• Responsible for analysis, generation of structure loading schemes, wind and seismic loading calculations, and design of structures.
• Design and detailing for concrete and other materials.
• Determine loads and stresses on different parts of a structure.
• Use computer simulations to predict how structures will react under different conditions with knowledge of basic analysis techniques for lateral loads.
• Apply applicable national and international codes such as Eurocode and ACI for reinforced concrete design.

• BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institute. M.E./M.Tech would be desirable.

• 7 to 12+ years of hands-on design experience including the design of foundations, reinforced concrete and steel structures.

• Strong technical understanding of structures and experience in designing concrete and steel structures, including substructure and superstructure. Experience with European design codes (Eurocode) and American Codes is required.

• Preference for candidates with experience working with multinational companies or overseas projects.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Experience in BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination is a plus.

• Ability to provide design and detailing inputs to technicians for developing REVIT models and drawings.

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD. Knowledge of RAM Concept or S-concrete is preferred.

• Understanding of various stages of project deliveries.

• Primarily able to handle projects in India such as data centers, mission-critical projects, and high-rise structures.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with demanding clients and resolve issues through conversation.

• Personal qualities: self-motivated, team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and flexible with changing deadlines.
