About the Role Lead the development of an AI-first developer platform from scratch to empower thousands of engineers to ship faster and safer. You’ll join a new Platform Engineering team building an internal developer platform, golden paths, and an enhanced developer experience for Microsoft engineering teams. What You'll Do
- Architect and build the AI-first developer platform and internal developer experience.
- Define golden paths and enable scalable developer workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive platform adoption, reliability, and velocity.
- Mentor and guide engineers, set technical direction, and influence product decisions. What We're Looking For
- Proven software engineering leadership in platform engineering or large-scale internal platforms.
- Experience shipping developer-focused platforms, tooling, and developer experience improvements.
- Strong architectural and communication skills; ability to partner across teams.
- Experience with AI-first development is a plus.
