About the Role The Principal Engineer, Physical Design leads the structural and physical design efforts for Custom IP and SoC designs, guiding RTL-to-GDS flows to create a manufacturing-ready design database. This role oversees end-to-end physical design responsibilities across synthesis, place-and-route, clock tree synthesis, floorplanning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability, and power and noise analysis, as well as verification and signoff.

What You'll Do

• Lead Structural Design / physical design Implementation of Custom IP and SoC designs from RTL to GDS to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
• Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability, and power and noise analysis.
• Conduct verification and signoff, including formal equivalence verification, static timing analysis, reliability verification, static and dynamic power integrity, layout verification.
