Principal Engineer
At the core of the role
We are looking for a Principal Engineer to be the foremost technical authority for AI-driven software delivery on an ambitious enterprise platform. The product is an AI-native work operating system. It replaces traditional ticket- and document-centric tools with an enterprise registry, a connected knowledge graph and a multi-agent workforce. Human users and AI agents work side by side on a shared source of truth. The platform starts by integrating with Jira and Confluence as data sources, and over time it aims to replace them as the primary systems of work and knowledge.
You will define the engineering strategy, architecture standards and AI governance for the platform. You will also lead the move to AI-native engineering, inspired by emerging AI-DLC (AI-Driven Development Lifecycle) practices, and guide teams in using AI across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and operations. Throughout, you will make sure that security, quality, traceability and compliance hold up.

AI engineering platforms LLM orchestration RAG and knowledge systems CI/CD and DevSecOps AI governance frameworks Microservices and event-driven architectures Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with AI-DLC or similar AI-native delivery frameworks Experience with LLM evaluation and observability Background in enterprise SaaS or work management and collaboration platforms
The impact you'll create
The role defines engineering strategy, architecture standards, AI governance implementation, and enterprise-scale adoption of AI throughout the software development lifecycle. You will drive transformation towards AI-native engineering practices while ensuring security, quality, traceability, and compliance. Inspired by emerging AI-DLC practices, you will guide teams in leveraging AI across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations
