  • Job Description | Product Manager & Architect, Enablement Experience

  • Location: India / In Person Team: Cornerstone University

About Cornerstone:

  • At Cornerstone, we believe in AI that works in the service of people, amplifying their judgment to drive high-performing, future-ready organizations forward. Cornerstone Workforce AI™, the intelligence platform for workforce readiness, brings together workforce and labor market data into a proprietary Cornerstone People Graph™, translating signals into intelligence, targeting learning where it matters, developing critical skills, and surfacing hidden talent. Delivered as an open, enterprise platform across whatever application your people work in every day, Cornerstone Workforce AI is built for scale, security, and trust, with certified AI guardrails. As an industry leader, Cornerstone is helping approximately 7,000 organizations, 140M+ users, across 186 countries build continuous workforce readiness.

About the role

Today, our customers and partners learn through Cornerstone University training and courses, our knowledge base, live events, community forums, certifications, and conversations with their Customer Success team. These experiences are centralized through the Cornerstone Community, but they live in separate systems and can feel like separate journeys.

As Product Manager & Architect, Enablement Experiences, you will define and own the enablement platforms vision, strategy, architecture, and execution for one unified Cornerstone University experience: a single front door where customers, partners, and employees find answers, connect with experts and peers, learn in the flow of their work, and prove what they can do. You’ll see where information flows, where it breaks, and where the opportunities are, and you’ll turn that into a roadmap, an architecture, and shipped experiences that drive customer adoption, partner readiness, and renewal.

This is a senior, high-ownership role: one part product leader, one part architect, one part builder. You’ll report to the leader of Enablement & Community Experiences, who owns the business outcomes for the function. You own the platform that delivers them. You’ll also act as Customer Zero for Cornerstone’s own Workforce AI and learning technology, running our education business on our own products and feeding what we learn back to Product.

The role joins Cornerstone at an exciting moment, helping shape the company’s future through our Workforce AI tools. This is a new role on the Cornerstone University team for someone with clear vision, sound judgment, and the cross-functional leadership to bring bold ideas to life.

This role is based in India, with teammates based in global geographic hubs. Weekday hours require flexing to provide overlap with members in EMEA and the Americas.

Scope and Decision Rights:

  • You own: Cornerstone University product roadmap; prioritization; target-state architecture and standards; integrations and data flows; design and build of AI-powered experiences; build-vs-buy recommendations and vendor evaluations; technical direction for learning system administrators.
  • You partner on: enablement and community strategy, program priorities, budget, and executive alignment, content (Learning Design & Content) measurement and insights (Strategy, Insights & Operations); identity and security (IT and Security); CRM and customer health data (Salesforce and Gainsight teams).

In this role, you will…

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Vision, Strategy & Product Management

  • Define and own the platform vision and multi-year roadmap for the Cornerstone University ecosystem (learning platforms, community, knowledge base, certifications, events, in-product learning, and AI experiences), tied directly to customer adoption and retention, partner readiness, and education as a growth function.

  • Map the current customer learning landscape, including platforms, data flows, identity, content, search, and handoffs, and identify where users hit friction, fragmentation, duplication, or unnecessary cost.

  • Run continuous product discovery with customers, partners, Customer Success, Services, and Support. Prioritize by business impact and say no clearly.

  • Lead build vs. buy vs. partner decisions and platform vendor strategy, backed by business cases. Evaluate vendor roadmaps and market shifts in customer education and community platforms.

  • Present the platform roadmap, investment cases, and trade-offs to executives in clear business language.

  • Architecture & Standards

  • Define the target-state architecture and standards for the learning ecosystem, including data models, integration patterns, identity and SSO design, content and search, and security and privacy. Partner with Product, IT, and Security to put them into practice.

  • Own the shared taxonomy and metadata framework covering products, skills, roles, audiences, and content types, as the foundation for search, personalized learning paths, reporting, and AI retrieval.

  • Instrument the ecosystem: define event-level learning telemetry (e.g., xAPI and a learning record store) and data pipelines so learning, community, and certification activity can be measured at account and capability level and connected to adoption, retention, and revenue.

  • Ensure the experience is accessible, localized, and performs well for a global audience.

  • AI-Powered Experiences

  • Lead the strategy, design, and build of AI-powered experiences across Cornerstone University and Community, such as an authenticated answer experience that blends learning, community, and support content; personalized learning paths and nudges; and AI-assisted practice and assessment. Use native Cornerstone AI first and third-party solutions where justified.

  • Own the retrieval approach behind these experiences, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over a governed content corpus, permission-aware retrieval, and content freshness, working closely with Content and Product teams.

  • Establish evaluation and responsible AI practices: accuracy and hallucination testing, guardrails, human-in-the-loop review, privacy, and cost monitoring.

  • Design for an agentic future, including integration through emerging standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and partner agent ecosystems.

  • Integration & Execution

  • Own and drive the integrations between the learning ecosystem including Cornerstone platform, Salesforce and Gainsight so learning, community, and certification data syncs to the right account and contact records and appears in Customer Success, Sales, and partner workflows, giving a complete picture of adoption, health, and renewal.

  • Lead delivery of platform programs end to end: plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, vendor and implementation-partner management, testing, launch, and change management.

  • Own the certification and credentialing platform infrastructure, including proctored exams, digital badges, and certification maintenance and renewal flows, in partnership with the Certification team.

  • Deliver learning in the flow of work, including in-product guidance within Cornerstone and experiences embedded in the tools customers, partners, and employees already use.

  • Set technical priorities for learning system administrators, review configuration decisions, evaluate platform changes, and define release and testing standards.

  • Partnership & Leadership

  • Partner with your manager to translate business goals into platform priorities and to report progress and outcomes.

  • Work across Cornerstone University, Customer Success, Services, Support, Alliances, Product, Marketing, and IT.

  • Act as Customer Zero: run Cornerstone University on Cornerstone products and give structured feedback to Product.

  • Explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executives.

What Success Looks Like:

  • First 30-60 days: current-state map, target-state architecture, prioritized roadmap, and investment case agreed with leadership; quick wins identified and underway.
  • By 6 months: unified identity and single front door in delivery; agentic experiences serving 60+% of the audience’s needs through agentic front door, learning and community data flowing to Salesforce and Gainsight account records at an agreed data-quality level; telemetry standards in place; first AI experience piloting with defined success metrics.
  • By 9-12 months: single front door live for customers and partners serving 80+% of the needs; AI answer experience in production with measured resolution and satisfaction; fewer platforms and lower platform costs.
