Join PMI's drive toward a smoke-free future as a Principal Design System Engineer. You will act as the technical authority for system architecture, integration, and design integrity across multiple NPI/NPD programs, guiding decisions from concept through commercialization to meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do
- Lead system architecture, integration, and technical strategy across multiple product platforms and development programs.
- Own and govern Design Input Requirements (DIR), ensuring alignment with program goals and compliance.
- Serve as the technical authority for system architecture, integration, and design integrity across NPI/NPD programs.
- Drive system-level decisions from concept through commercialization to ensure performance, quality, manufacturability, compliance, and consumer requirements. What We're Looking For
- Experienced systems engineering leader with passion for solving complex technical challenges and shaping next-generation connected devices.
- Strong background in designing and delivering systems for NPI/NPD programs and connected product platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with the Program Manager (PM) and cross-functional teams to align on objectives and requirements.
- Knowledge of safety/compliance requirements and product quality standards.
