About the Role The Principal Data Architect will design and steward the enterprise data architecture that makes CMC data usable, governable, and AI-ready at scale. This role defines integration patterns, data models, metadata standards, and reusable architecture artifacts to enable consistent, scalable data products across Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain. What You'll Do
- Define and maintain the target-state data architecture across the CMC domain.
- Define integration patterns, data models, metadata standards, and reusable architecture artifacts to enable consistent, scalable delivery of data products across Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain operations.
- Enable the integration of real-time data from control systems and automation environments into a unified, event-driven architecture bridging OT and IT data.
- Bring coherence to heterogeneous data by designing patterns that normalize data into a platform where analysts, engineers, and AI systems can operate with confidence.
- Operate with significant autonomy as a principal-level contributor, influence technical direction across CMC Digital, and build architectural foundations for reusable and scalable data and AI capabilities. What We're Looking For
- Experience designing enterprise data architectures and governance for manufacturing/CMC domains.
- Proficiency in integration patterns, data models, metadata standards, and architecture artifacts.
- Experience integrating real-time data from control systems and automation into event-driven architectures bridging OT and IT.
- Ability to normalize heterogeneous data and enable data/AI workflows for analysts, engineers, and AI systems.
- Track record of operating with autonomy and influencing technical direction across digital functions.
