Job Summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a Consultant level professional to join our team of Global Advisory consultants, technology specialists, and energy industry subject matter experts. The Principal Consultant will drive the development and execution of business strategy to support the growing the Strategy & Planning business and the success of Black & Veatch and our clients to support them with implementing their Decarbonization and Energy Transition journey. Providing input to the strategy and direction for the organization, this professional plays a key role to support the processes to develop and deliver strategic solutions, acquire new clients and engagements, to grow existing clients, and maintain a strong relationship with senior client executives to ensure considerable business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, sell, and direct innovative strategy solutions addressing complex problems and market trends related to the transformation of the energy industry targeting key stakeholders including utilities, commercial and industrial customers, developers. • Support strategic engagements with new and existing clients working independently as well as with the broader sales and business line teams in the areas of decarbonization and energy transition, distributed energy resources, including developing and delivering opportunities in the marketplace, with an emphasis on sales and account growth and profitability. • Support assigned accounts across industry segments (electric, gas, water asset owners / operators, industrials, transport operators, etc.), reflecting the Management Consulting offerings and strategic value propositions underpinned by viable engineering solutions. • Collaborate and partner with Black & Veatch sales and solutions teams to provide comprehensive solutions across key energy market sectors in the APAC region.
