About the Role Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal to help grow our Office of the CFO (OCFO) Advisory practice. This role targets an experienced advisor who understands high-performing finance organizations and how the role of the CFO is evolving, with a proven ability to develop business, drive growth, build client relationships, and lead high-performing teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee Office of the CFO engagements across a variety of industries and business environments.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, finance leaders, private equity firms, and portfolio company management teams.
- Lead projects involving finance transformation, process improvement, financial reporting modernization, technical accounting, and systems enablement.
- Advise clients through acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, integrations, and other strategic transactions.
- Support transaction-related activities, including financial due diligence readiness, accounting assessments, integration planning, and post-close execution.
- Help clients design, build, and scale high-performing finance organizations capable of supporting growth, increasing complexity, and evolving stakeholder expectations.
- Lead client engagements involving technical accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, and IPO readiness when needed.
- Deliver insights and recommendations that improve financial performance, operational effectiveness, and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and deliver additional value across Baker Tilly’s advisory platform.
