About this role

About the Role

The Principal Solution Architect is a senior leadership role that blends hands-on delivery accountability with executive-level strategy. This role ensures solutions are not only well-designed, but successfully implemented and realized within client environments. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to clients, owning the end-to-end solution lifecycle—from pre-sales through implementation—while driving technical excellence, client value, and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead solution design for complex, enterprise-scale engagements across multiple clients or industries, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for assigned clients and guide pre-sales activities including discovery, framing, and proposals.
  • Own scoping, estimation, and cost modeling for large opportunities; validate proposals for technical integrity and risk.
  • Oversee transition from pre-sales to delivery; provide ongoing leadership during implementation to ensure scalable, optimized solutions and measurable client value.
  • Drive adoption and realization of solutions within client environments; stay current on industry trends and identify process improvements.
  • Partner with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams; mentor and guide less experienced architects; promote standard practices.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of combined experience in technical pre-sales and solution implementation; 10+ years in client-facing executive engagements.
  • 5+ years in data-driven marketing environments (database, direct, or digital marketing).
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience; cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong expertise in enterprise solution architecture for complex systems; hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of identity resolution (deterministic and probabilistic matching; offline/online stitching); real-time data processing architectures; CDP / Customer 360.
  • AI/ML-enabled analytics concepts applied to large-scale data; experience with real-time data architectures and modern data platforms.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership; ability to articulate technical value to non-technical stakeholders.
