About the Role As Principal Architect for Data AI, you will drive the architecture strategy and technical direction for data and AI initiatives at Microsoft. You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and impactful data platforms and AI solutions that enable business outcomes. What You'll Do
- Define and lead end-to-end data and AI architecture across platforms and projects.
- Collaborate with customers, engineering, and consulting teams to shape technical direction and deliverables.
- Ensure architectural governance, security, performance, and reliability for data and AI workloads.
- Mentor teams and drive best practices in data engineering, data science, and cloud-native architectures.
- Influence stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. What We're Looking For
- Deep experience in data architecture, analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML solution design.
- Proven ability to lead technically complex engagements with customers and partner teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, data governance, security, and scalable architectures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus. Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure data services.
- Consulting services background and thought leadership.
