Job title: Principal Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

About the Role You will be an Analog IC Design Principal Engineer in Marvell’s Central Engineering group, helping to create IP used across Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You’ll be part of a small analog design team, contributing to highly sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES products and driving design across the full lifecycle from architecture to verification and layout.

What You'll Do

• Design and verify mixed-signal circuits including PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, regulators, amplifiers, TX; RX; CDRs to meet performance targets using SPICE, Spectre, MATLAB and other industry tools.
• Carry out layout activities in nanometer CMOS technologies and supervise physical design.
• Work in the lab independently or with test engineers to characterize, debug and validate designs.
• Generate design-related documents, application specifications, and may support customers and FAEs as needed.
• Interface with digital and SOC teams to facilitate design integration and cross-functional verifications.

What We're Looking For

• Deep sub-micron CMOS technologies knowledge.
• Hands-on experience designing mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, filters, Bandgap bias circuits, regulators, and other analog circuits.
• Knowledge and experience with low power and high-speed design techniques.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, MATLAB, Hsim, Verilog, etc.
• Lab testing skills to evaluate prototype units to the design specification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay range: USD 176,500 - 261,180 per year
