About the Role The Principal Acquisition Program Manager at Wright-Patterson AFB leads complex acquisition programs for defense systems. The role focuses on strategy, planning, and execution to deliver mission-critical capabilities on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with DoD procurement policies. What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end program management for DoD acquisition programs, including scope, schedule, cost, and performance.
- Coordinate with government customers, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders to align requirements and mitigate risk.
- Develop acquisition strategies, manage contracts, and oversee program metrics and reporting to leadership. What We're Looking For
- Experience managing large, multi-stakeholder acquisition programs within the defense or federal sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Solid understanding of DoD procurement processes, contracting, and compliance; track record of delivering programs on time and within scope.
- On-site presence at Wright-Patterson AFB; eligibility to work on base (clearance level as applicable). Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Active security clearance.
