Primary Teacher

William Harding School is seeking enthusiastic, ambitious and skilled Primary Teachers to join a supportive, four-form entry school that values teamwork, wellbeing and high standards. The role offers collaborative planning in year groups, a devolved leadership structure and strong opportunities for professional development.

Teach engaging lessons to primary pupils within a four-form entry school, collaborating with three other teachers in your year group plus a Year Lead. Contribute to planning, resources, displays and extra-curricular activities, sharing workload to support wellbeing. Engage with internal CPD and bespoke CPD for SEND and pastoral needs; work with SEND and FLO teams. Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to raise standards. Support workload and wellbeing initiatives and participate in wellbeing activities and training.

Qualified teacher with a passion for primary education and a commitment to high standards. Ability to work in a devolved leadership environment, collaborate in teams, and support wellbeing. Willingness to engage in CPD and contribute to SEND and pastoral needs. Experience with pupils with SEND, Speech and Language needs or Physical Disabilities is beneficial. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience or interest in SEND, Speech and Language needs, and Physical Disabilities; exposure to ARP is a plus. Interest in pastoral care and family liaison roles.

Wellbeing and workload support including a dedicated committee, open door policy, onsite staff counsellor, external support and wellbeing-focused training and appraisals. Protected time for wellbeing and report writing, plus dedicated wellbeing time. Year-group Lead Teachers and a FLO team to support families and staff. Commitment to professional development and a collaborative working environment.
