Job Summary

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, organised, and experienced Primary School Teacher to train and prepare newly recruited domestic staff before they are deployed to clients' homes.

The successful candidate will use their teaching experience to educate trainees on childcare, basic home management, personal hygiene, communication, professionalism, workplace etiquette, and proper care practices.

The ideal candidate should have a nurturing and motherly disposition, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for teaching and developing people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train newly recruited domestic staff through classroom lessons and practical demonstrations.

  • Teach trainees on childcare, hygiene, home management, housekeeping, and appropriate workplace practices.

  • Educate trainees on communication, personal grooming, professionalism, and customer service.

  • Assess trainees' understanding through practical exercises and evaluations.

  • Monitor trainees' attendance, participation, discipline, and overall progress.

  • Provide additional coaching and support where necessary.

  • Prepare simple lesson plans, training materials, and assessment reports.

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and trainee performance.

  • Work with the recruitment and operations team to ensure trainees are ready for deployment.

  • Conduct refresher training when required.

  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Education, Home Economics, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of teaching or training experience.

  • Experience working with children, domestic staff, caregivers, or in a similar training environment is an advantage.

  • Good teaching, communication, and classroom management skills.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Patient, empathetic, responsible, and professional.

  • Must have a genuine interest in teaching and mentoring others.
