Pricing Manager
Position Summary:
The Pricing Manager will be responsible for leading NuCO2’s price and contracting strategy. This position is critical to drive operating profit growth through management and analysis of price and cost recovery. A key responsibility will be business analysis and forecasting in the price environment to ensure that NuCO2’s Leadership Team is consistently aware of performance, opportunities for improvement and the strategies to achieve desired results.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leading and executing price actions and initiatives with the commercial sales teams. This includes working closely with the sales management teams to ensure price targets are met.
- Tactical actions on price initiatives such as file preparation with price targets, file consolidation, JDE upload coordination and customer letter notifications.
- Developing automation workflows to optimize price execution. This will include working in partnership with Linde’s digital team, Sales/Product Management, Data Management, the Business Intelligence group, and IT.
- A thorough understanding of NUC02’s customer contract terms to ensure we are executing price escalations within the terms of our agreement as well as maximizing price opportunities.
- Developing a comprehensive price measurement system that evaluates the success of contract and price actions and processes, including stick rate of actions as well as roll back measurement
- Identifying, implementing, and tracking productivity projects relating to pricing and cost recovery opportunities
- Developing internal and external communications such as implementation guidelines, customer sales support materials, letters, and internal FAQ documents
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong digital aptitude, with demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx to improve processes and support data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with preferably Six Sigma certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
