Pricing Manager
The Pricing manager will support the development, monitoring, and enhancement of pricing strategies across Greenval’s motor fleet and ancillary insurance products. The role involves actuarial analysis, price modelling development, portfolio performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and providing data-driven recommendations to support profitable business growth.

Pricing Model Development

Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing models for motor fleet insurance and ancillary insurance products.

Perform statistical and actuarial analyses to identify key risk drivers and pricing factors.

Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend pricing adjustments to improve profitability and competitiveness.

Support the implementation of new rating structures, pricing methodologies to support new business development.

Ensuring pricing tables are updated and dynamic pricing approach implemented

Support with the implementation of a new rating engine

Underwriting Support
-
Partner closely with Underwriting team to provide pricing recommendations for new and existing business opportunities.

Assist underwriters in assessing large or complex fleet risks through data analysis and pricing support.

Provide technical guidance on pricing assumptions, risk selection, and portfolio management.

Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and pricing frameworks.

Portfolio Performance & Analytics

Analyse claims experience, loss ratios, premium trends, and portfolio performance metrics.

Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks affecting profitability.

Conduct deep-dive investigations into adverse claims trends.

Prepare regular performance reports and communicate findings to underwriting team.

Support predictive analytics and business intelligence initiatives to improve decision-making.

Management Reporting

Assist in preparing management information for quarterly Pricing and Underwriting Committee meetings.

Produce clear and accurate reports summarising pricing performance, profitability, and business trends.

Pricing Governance

Conduct regular pricing reviews to ensure adherence to approved pricing tables.

Qualifications & Experience required for this role
-
Third level qualification.
-
Industry experience (10+ years) in a non-life Insurance related environment in particular Motor Fleet Insurance.

Experience in actuarial pricing & insurance analytics.

Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (SQL, SAS, R, Python, Power BI, or similar).

Knowledge of the motor insurance industry in Europe.

Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
