About the Role As a Prevention Specialist- HIV Prevention at Gilead, you will represent Gilead's HIV prevention products and services to a defined customer base, driving sales in Pasadena, West Covina, and Rancho Cucamonga, while providing disease awareness information and clinical updates to healthcare professionals. You will work to ensure timely education and healthcare changes reach clinicians, translate complex clinical concepts to diverse audiences, and collaborate across internal teams to support patient outcomes. What You'll Do
- Represent Gilead's HIV prevention products to a defined customer base, generate and grow sales, and strive to meet or exceed targets within the assigned geographic area, including in-person meetings with healthcare practitioners.
- Build and nurture relationships with healthcare practices to deliver disease awareness information, clinical education, and updates on healthcare changes.
- Translate complex clinical concepts into accessible messaging; deliver compelling presentations and effective communications to healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan, monitor progress, and prepare budgets for customer contacts, educational grants, speaker events, and external expenditures.
- Collaborate with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and external partners to co-promote products.
- Monitor issues and opportunities in geography and communicate proactively to marketing and sales management; promote appropriate product use in line with corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies; report adverse events to Drug Safety and Public Health; maintain accurate call activity and expense reporting.
- Travel as required within the assigned area; maintain onsite visitation requirements for healthcare practitioners as applicable.
- Demonstrate advanced influencing and relationship-building with a focus on sales outcomes; be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

- Basic Qualifications: High School with 9 Years' Experience; OR Associates and 7 Years; OR Bachelor's and 5 Years; OR Master's and 3 Years.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area and satisfy onsite visitation requirements (vaccinations, background screenings, etc.).
- Strong presentation, communication, and ability to translate clinical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships; results-driven, self-motivated, and autonomous.
- Knowledge of Gilead and competitor products in relevant therapeutic areas; understanding of disease states.
- Commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements (FD&C Act, FDA regulations, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, PhRMA Code, OIG Guidance). Compensation & Benefits
