About the Role Volt is hiring a Press Operator in Visalia, CA to safely and competently operate a 6-color Comco and 4-color Kidder Flexographic press. This role requires dedication to safety, print quality, production, and housekeeping, with a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. What You'll Do
- Operate the 6-color Comco and 4-color Kidder Flexographic press safely and competently.
- Perform all job setups; load and unload anilox rolls and plate cylinders; ensure printing plates are in proper order.
- Register print and match color using computer and by eye; load/unload paper rolls; check print quality at least twice per mill roll.
- Complete all necessary paperwork; check pH and viscosity as necessary; ensure doctor blades are in working order.
- Prepare for the next print job and verify templates/eye marks and color. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to train on 1st shift for 3 months (8am-4pm) before transitioning to the listed schedule.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes 12am-8am, subject to weekends and overtime.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and housekeeping. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $20.01 per hour.
