Job title: Press Operator - 2nd Shift
About the Role Press Operator on the 2nd shift in Halstead, KS, supporting the production of high-quality products. You will operate curing presses and other machinery with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Operate curing presses and other machinery with precision and efficiency.
- Report issues to your Department Head or Supervisor using established communication channels.
- Accurately complete daily production reports, including productivity, quality control holds, material usage, and material movement.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, corporate policies, and internal procedures; seek clarification when needed.
- Actively participate in expanding knowledge of work orders, products, and processes, and contribute to safety, quality, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives. Participate in internal and external training opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Intermediate computer skills.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; we will not sponsor visas.
- Commitment to teamwork and contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Nice to Have
- More than 1 year of experience in manufacturing.
- Forklift and/or Crane operating experience.
