President & COO / Operating Lead

Dabria Studios is seeking a President & COO / Operating Lead to work alongside the founder and build the operating company around our creative slate.

Dabria Studios is a creator-led media studio developing, producing, owning and distributing original scripted programming directly to audiences. Our first original, The Lockdown House, has completed principal photography, dabriastudios.com is live, and we are preparing a four-property 2027 Pilot Season.

This person will be the founder’s operational counterpart. The founder will continue leading creative vision, IP, development and slate strategy; the President & COO will own the systems, planning and cross-functional execution required to turn that vision into a scalable studio.

Responsibilities include:

• Own day-to-day company operations and operating priorities
• Build and manage company budgets, cash planning and operating forecasts
• Support the company’s pre-seed fundraising process, investor follow-up, diligence and reporting
• Build operating systems, timelines, KPIs and accountability across the company
• Coordinate production, commercial, audience/growth and platform/data functions
• Help recruit and manage specialist operators and project teams
• Oversee vendor, contractor and professional-service relationships
• Support sponsorship and commercial planning alongside the commercial lead
• Help prepare Dabria Studios for its 2027 Pilot Season and Melbourne operating expansion
• Translate founder strategy into clear execution plans and make sure priorities actually get completed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience in startup, media, entertainment, creator-economy or digital-business operations
• Is comfortable operating at very early stage with limited infrastructure
• Can move between strategy and hands-on execution
• Understands budgets, operational planning and cross-functional management
• Can communicate confidently with investors, partners and external professionals
• Is highly organized without becoming bureaucratic
• Respects the separation between creative leadership and business operations
• Is excited by building an independent media company from the ground up Experience in digital media, entertainment, production, sponsorship, creator businesses or direct-to-consumer media is especially valuable. Structure: This role is expected to begin on a part-time/fractional basis during Dabria Studios’ current pre-seed raise, with the intention to expand into a larger paid President & COO role following financing. This is an operating executive role, not a cofounder position and not a requirement for LLC ownership.
