About the Role The Presale Systems Engineer partners with customers and the sales team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions for public safety and government customers. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and sales and focuses on translating complex requirements into practical, deployable architectures that help first responders and public safety agencies operate more effectively. What You'll Do
- Customer requirements discovery
- Technology strategy development
- End-to-end system architecture design
- Proposal development
- Internal and external technical presentations
- Equipment and software solution demos, including configuration and testing What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering or 3+ years of experience in Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management, Engineering, or Public Safety
- United States citizenship with ability to obtain required security clearance
- Ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3GPP 4G/5G, FirstNet/Frontline) highly desirable
- Experience with Cloud (FedRAMP), IP networking architecture, protocols and security highly desirable
- Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets an asset
- This position is subject to CJIS Security Policy requirements and background checks Nice to Have

- Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 USD per year
