About the Role Join Bachoco USA Fort Smith as a Premix Feed Mill Operator on the 2nd shift. This role supports premix ingredient management, inventory control, and log maintenance within a safety-sensitive production environment. What You'll Do
- Keep premix ingredient bins full and maintain optimal inventory levels in the premix area.
- Keep Premix areas and the ingredient warehouse clean and tidy.
- Fill out and keep premix ingredient logs up to date.
- Take samples of ingredients and feed.
- Run ingredients and feed bin checks.
- Operate a forklift.
- Stand, walk, and reach; regularly lift up to 55 pounds.
- Recognize this is a safety-sensitive position with exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat; noise level is usually loud. What We're Looking For
- Forklift operation experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and reach; able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Willingness to work the 2nd shift (4 pm – 1 am) in a fast-paced production environment.
- Safety-conscious with ability to perform essential functions and follow procedures.
- Comfortable working in a loud, wet/humid and hot environment with moving machinery. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.50 per hour (with $1/hour weekly attendance incentive).
- Pay increases at 30 days and 90 days.
