About the Role California Baptist University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach prelicensure pediatric nursing within the College of Nursing. The role emphasizes excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service integrated with the Christian faith.
What You'll Do
- Teach prelicensure pediatric nursing courses for nursing students.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service in support of the mission of the College of Nursing and the University.
- Participate in curriculum development, clinical coordination, and assessment; maintain current clinical competencies.
- Ensure teaching approval by the California BRN and maintain an unencumbered California RN license.
- Contribute to program development and student mentorship.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in nursing required; an applicant with a BSN and enrolled in a graduate program is eligible.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year direct patient care within the past five years in the designated clinical area.
- Must be eligible for teaching approval by California BRN.
- Must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.
- Demonstrated alignment with the mission and doctrines of California Baptist University and the Baptist Faith and Message (June 14, 2000).
