About the Role California Baptist University seeks an adjunct nursing faculty member to support our prelicensure programs with emphasis on Community Public Health. The role requires a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service that integrates the Christian faith and learning, and alignment with the mission of the College of Nursing and the University.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality instruction in prelicensure nursing courses in the designated clinical areas as assigned (e.g., Community Public Health; Medical-Surgical content).
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service activities that support the university's mission.
- Participate in program activities, advisement, and collaboration with colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- An applicant with a nursing undergraduate degree (BSN) and enrolled in a graduate program is eligible.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Minimum of one-year direct patient care within the past five years in the designated clinical area.
- Eligible for teaching approval by the California BRN.
- Unencumbered California registered nurse license.
Nice to Have
- Teaching experience in higher education (preferred).
